Hello, I’m Lela. I’m more than the founder of Lela's Golden Whisk Bakery — I’m its soul.

From my cozy home bakery in Lakewood, Ohio, I pour love, intention, and a whole lot of butter into every single creation. A devoted wife, nurturing mom, and loyal friend, I bring the same care to my baking as I do to every relationship in my life. My kitchen isn’t just where recipes come to life — it’s where memories are made, laughter is shared, and joy is baked into every bite.

A Legacy of Love & Flour

This bakery carries the legacy of fierce, incredible women who baked with heart. My mom was a baker. So was my mother-in-law. Their kitchens were filled with warmth and the kind of magic that only rises in the oven. For years, even while working in retail, I found myself drawn back to the sweet science of baking—sneaking in late-night cookie experiments, dreaming up cake flavors, and imagining a place where joy could be served by the dozen.

Today, that dream is a reality right here in the Lakewood community.
